Monday, January 15, kicked off primary season for the U.S. presidential election in 2024.
On this day, Republicans held the Iowa caucus, while on Tuesday, January 23, they held a primary election in New Hampshire.
That same Tuesday, the Democratic Party held its first primary in New Hampshire.

Presidential primaries and caucuses

According to CNN, there are several key U.S. elections dates in February.
Saturday, February 3 will be the Democratic primary in South Carolina. Thursday, the 8th, Republicans will have caucuses in Nevada and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
On Saturday, February 24, we’ll see the Republican primary in South Carolina.
On Tuesday, the 27th, both Republicans and Democrats will hold their presidential primaries in Michigan.
March will be a very busy month

The momentum continues in March. On Saturday, the 2nd, Republicans have caucuses in Idaho and Missouri, as well as a convention in Michigan.
The Republican primary will be held in Washington DC on March 3, and the Republican caucus in North Dakota will be on March 4.
Super Tuesday falls on the 5th with several Democratic and Republican primaries.
These include elections in: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia and Utah.
More key U.S. elections dates for March

March 12 is another key U.S. elections date.
That day, there will be a Democratic caucus in the Northern Marianas as well as a Republican caucus in Hawaii and a primary in Georgia.
A week later on March 19, there will be Republican presidential primaries in Arizona and Florida, primaries for both parties in Illinois, Kansas and Ohio.
Finally, Republican and Democratic primaries will be held in Louisiana and the Democratic primary in Missouri will be held on March 23.
The presidential primaries come to an end in June

Both parties will have several presidential primaries in April and May before they come to an end in June.
On Tuesday, June 4, Democrats will hold primaries in Washington DC, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico and South Dakota.
From July 15th to 18th, the Republican National Convention will be held in Milwaukee.
Another of the key U.S. elections dates are August 19 to 22, when the Democratic National Convention will take place in Chicago.
